HOW TO ENTER

To enter consumers must purchase one (1) pack of Energizer Lithium or E2 Advanced Batteries or Energizer Rechargeable Batteries or charger from a participating Wooolworths and Safeway store during the promotional period. To enter, entrants must SMS their Energizer product barcode (last 6 digits) and their full name to 199 66 222.

Consumers will be notified by phone the next day at 9am EST if they have won the daily prize.

Entrants must retain the originals of their Woolworths/Safeway store receipt/s as proof of purchase. The Promoter may request the original receipts from the entrant to verify the validity of an entry and reserves the right to declare any entry for which original store receipts cannot be provided, invalid.

SMS ENTRY DETAILS

A reply SMS message will be sent back to your mobile phone to inform you if you have submitted a valid entry in to the major prize draw. Response times may vary and are subject to network coverage and availability, entry volume, the memory of the SIM card inside your mobile phone not being full and/or technical problems. SMS entries charged at $0.55 inclusive of GST. SMS entries via the internet are not valid and will not be accepted.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  3. Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter or win.
  4. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
  5. Entry into the major prize draw can only be made by SMS to 199 66 222. SMS messages are charged at standard carrier rates but will not exceed $0.55 cents including GST. The actual cost of the SMS entry will depend on the entrant's mobile plan. Vodafone pre-paid users are unable to participate by SMS because of Vodafone network restrictions.
  6. Entries are only valid if they contain the last 6 digits from their Energizer product barcode number and the full name of the entrant. The Promoter may request the original receipts from the entrant to verify the validity of an entry and reserves the right to declare any entry for which original store receipts cannot be provided, invalid.
  7. Competition commences in store at 9am AEST on 27/08/07 and concludes in store at 5pm AEST on 23/09/07. Daily prize winners will be drawn each day from 28/08/07 day throughout the promotional period at 9am AEST until 24/09/07 inclusive. The daily draw will include all entries received from the start of the promotion and will roll over into the next days entries. Saturday and Sunday draws will be conducted on the following Monday. The prize draw will take place at Level 2, 50 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. Prize winners will be notified by phone. The winner’s names will be published in The Australian newspaper on 01/10/07. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. Consumer Prizes: The first valid entry drawn each week day from across Australia will win $600 in the form of a WISH Gift Card. Prize values are inclusive of GST and are in Australian dollars.
  9. Total prize pool is $16,800.
  10. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or undelivered entries.
  11. If a winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, age and of residency at the nominated prize collection address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
  13. Please allow 28 days for delivery of prizes.
  14. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 04/02/08 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject however to any written directions given under Reg 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA). In the event of a winner/s in the unclaimed prize draw, their name/s will be published in The Australian newspaper on 11/02/08.
  15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  16. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion. To facilitate your participation, the Promoter may disclose your personal information to companies it has engaged to assist it in conducting the promotion. If you do not provide your personal information, the Promoter will not be able to enter you into this promotion. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the address shown below.
